Financial Aid: Going to college or training next fall? Financial aid applications for this year’s graduating seniors are available now! In Washington, there are TWO ways to apply for financial aid. You should ONLY complete one application—the FAFSA or the WASFA:
FAFSA: Most people should complete a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to get the most aid available. The FAFSA is used by U.S. citizens and eligible non-citizens to apply for both state and federal financial aid.
WASFA: The WASFA (Washington Application for State Financial Aid) is an application only for state financial aid. The WASFA is used by people who are not eligible to complete the FAFSA due to immigration status, defaulted federal loans, or other issues with federal aid. Or for people who choose not to file a federal FAFSA application.
Still have questions regarding Financial Aid? Reach out to your counselor or KW Career Specialist located in the Career Center in Room 156!
Jostens Meeting: There will be a Senior class meeting on November 5th during Conk Time to learn about/order senior apparel and graduation caps and gowns.
All clubs need to complete an application or renewal packet and submit after the first meeting. Forms can be picked up outside the Activities Office.
Model UN: The next Model UN meeting is THIS FRIDAY in room 167 after school. We'll do quick club officer elections (must be present to be elected), register for PACMUN, and participate in a discussion on current events.
Japan and Korea Club: Japan and Korea club will have their 2nd meeting on Oct.16 in Room 503. We will be making Tteobokki (tuk-bok-ki) and tea for everyone followed by fun activities, we hope to see you there!
