*KW Spirit Days: Thursday is Jersey Day. Wear something that shows off your favorite things (team, band, show, hobby, etc.). Friday is Kentwood Spirit Day so wear Kentwood colors/gear.

Girls Golf in Kent Reporter: Kentwood Girls Golf got a shoutout in the Kent Reporter. You can read the article here.

KW Clubs: Club charter and renewal forms are now available in the Activities Office. Want to start a brand-new club? Grab a club charter application! Bringing back a club from last year? Pick up a renewal form! Something new this year is the club constitution — every club must turn one in with their application. Any questions? See Mr. Taylor or Mrs. Inscho in the Activities Office. Let’s show that Kentwood Conk spirit, get involved, and make this the best year yet!

DECA:The first DECA meeting of the year will be Tuesday, September 16th right after school in Room 151. Come find out what DECA is all about. If you see yourself as a high achiever interested in business, DECA is for you.  

Model UN: Are you interested in learning about world issues? Do you want to become a confident public speaker and negotiator? Do you want to attend conferences where you can work with other students from across the Pacific Northwest? If so, come to the brief Model United Nations Club meeting on Friday Sept 12th. We will be discussing the upcoming Educational Model UN Conference and how our club works. We'll meet briefly from 2:30 - 2:45 in room 167. If you can't make the meeting, stop by and talk to Mr. Larsen in room 167.

Fall Athletes: All fall athletes must have a current ASB card to participate in practices and games. Purchase online or at the cashier's office.

Unified Cornhole: Attention Students! 🎯Cornhole needs you!

  • Join us Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30–4:00 PM in the New Gym.

  • Come out, toss some bags, and be part of a great team! 💪

Attendance Reminders for 2025-26:

  • Students leaving early must check out before leaving campus to have the absence excused.  Parents can contact the attendance office to schedule an early release.

  • We do not call the classroom to inform students of their dismissal unless a parent has come in to request their student’s release.  It is up to the students to be sure they have filled out an early dismissal slip before leaving campus.

  • If you are late for school, and a parent has contacted us to excuse the absence, please stop by attendance when you arrive to fill out an excused admit slip.  If no parent contact, please go straight to class upon arrival.

  • Contact Ms. Wallis for any attendance questions/concerns.

Student Lockers: Student lockers are available by request through the Attendance Office.

Student Parking Passes: Attn: All Senior and Junior Drivers! Want to park on campus? 

  • Step 1: Please complete this parking form.

  • Step 2: GO SEE THE CASHIER to pay for parking and get your Kentwood Parking Tag!

ASB Cards: All students involved in after school activities (clubs, sports, ASB etc.) must purchase a KW ASB card. ASB cards are $30 and can be purchased online or at the Cashier's window. Benefits include free entry to regular season home game, discounted yearbook and dance tickets and more.

Senior Class Picture: Seniors wear black for the Senior Class Photo on September 17th during Conk Time. Report to Conk Time for attendance and your advisor will escort you to the gym. Don't miss out!

Jostens Meeting: There will be a Senior class meeting on November 5th during Conk Time to learn about/order senior apparel and graduation caps and gowns.

Kentwood Clubs

All clubs need to complete an application or renewal packet and submit after the first meeting. Forms can be picked up outside the Activities Office. All clubs need to submit a Club Constitution this year (blue form). For help, see Mr. Taylor or Mrs. Inscho in the Activities Office.

Club rush will take place on September 24th during both lunches. What clubs are you joining Kentwood?
