Any volunteer must be approved through KSD's Volunteers In Public Schools system. It's a simple online process and approvals come through within 1-2 weeks, usually faster.
If you volunteered in the past, you must reapply every school year that you want to volunteer. |

2. Complete Online Enrollment Complete the online enrollment application at www.kent.k12.wa.us/page/enrollment 3. To get started, you will need

Park Orchard has an online Spirit Wear/Merchandise store! |
Please remind your student to check the racks for anything that you haven't seen come home in a while. And we also have a Small Items Lost and Found in the main office for things like rings, glasses, pens, and toys. The best way to make sure that your student's items return to them is by writing their name somewhere on them, like on a clothing tag, inside their backpack, or in large print on a ball. |
It's spring in the PNW! Please have your students dress in weather-appropriate clothing (coats, gloves, hats, rainboots, umbrella, etc.) to keep them warm at recess and consider packing an extra set of labeled clothes in a large ziplock in their backpack just in case they get wet. |
Park Orchard families, if you are driving your student to or from school please remember to keep all of us safe by obeying posted 20 mph speed limits, and coming to a complete stop before the white lines at intersections. When a crossing flag is up, we ask that all directions stop. Thank you for helping keep our kids safe! |
