Hello Sawyer Woods Families,

I hope everyone stayed safe during the recent 'bomb cyclone.' What an incredible and fascinating weather event we experienced! As someone who loves learning about the weather, I hope this sparked curiosity and questions among our students about how and why such events occur. I imagine we will be resuming normal operations on Monday. Please express our sorrow to the 4th graders who missed their field trip opportunity today to go learn about Salmon at Flaming Geyser State Park.

Today's PTA fundraiser at Mod Pizza in Maple Valley appears to be canceled. Mod looks to be closed. If they open and you are driving by, I am sure they would gladly honor our planned fundraiser.
