Hello Sawyer Woods Families,
It has been great welcoming back students from winter break. Today, we will have a school-wide assembly re-teaching school-wide expectations and launching several initiatives, including our Golden Soaring Eagle Awards. We want to acknowledge our students for SOARing and being amazing. We will also be launching our Race to Success Initiative, which is grounded in a monthly virtue theme.
As you may have seen on our school's Facebook, we welcomed our newest family members to SW, coho salmon eggs. Right now, they are beginning to hatch! We are excited to share the Salmon journey with our students. This also fits with the theme for our Celebration of Learning. Mark your calendars for March 6th for our school's favorite annual event. We will be celebrating the life, vision, and dream of Dr. Martin Luther King on Friday, January 24th. This gives us a little more time to get our students involved and honor the life and legacy of Dr. King. Students In K-1 will be
