Your Weekly Sawyer Woods Family Newsletter

From the Principal

Hello Sawyer Woods Families,

As the days get shorter, I hope that you are spending the evenings indoors warm and cozy. I challenge families to pass the time by hiding away screens and gaming devices. Get out that old game of Monopoly Jr., maybe bring out that dusty old Scrabble box. Why not have a reading challenge? One thing that I am going to do is have my kids do some baking.

Sawyer Woods Shirts

Our new Sawyer Woods shirts have arrived, and we will distribute them on Tuesday. If a child needs a different size, please have them bring it into the office, and we will swap the shirt for a different size. Then they can wear it on Wednesday for SW Gear Day! Perfect timing.

Plans this weekend?

If you are looking for a close wintertime activity, there will be a tree lighting at Ten Trails tomorrow, Saturday the 7th, from 3:00-7:00 PM. It sounds like there will be a Wagon Ride, Games, Carolers, Reinder, and Santa. I already checked off Snowflake Lane in Bellevue. Another low-cost alternative Clam Lights in Renton and the Botanical Gardens in Bellevue (Kids under 10 free).

Best,

Andre Koch, Principal
