Today, we will be holding our MLK Assembly. Students will be hearing again from James Laymon, the director of the Association of Washington Student Leaders. They will listen to a message about empathy, compassion, and respect. Some questions you can talk to your child about are:

What can we do to make the world awesome for others?
In James’ speech, he mentioned choices we can make to make the world a kinder place. What choices could we make daily to help the world be a kinder and better place for others?
Next Wednesday is a non-school day. This was previously scheduled to be a day off today, but due to the windstorm in November, the date was changed.
RED ROBIN TAKE OVER NIGHT!!!! It looks like we have another Red Robin Take Over "Night" (All day) on January 30th, that is next Thursday.
